Football Queensland welcomes Mitre as the 2023 official ball partner
Football Queensland is pleased to announce Mitre as the official ball partner and preferred ball supplier to the Queensland football community in a three-year partnership.
The agreement will see Mitre become the official competition ball for the National Premier Leagues (NPL) Queensland and the Football Queensland Premier Leagues (FQPL) from 2023.
“Football Queensland is delighted to welcome Mitre on board from January 2023 as our official ball partner and preferred ball supplier for three years,” FQ CEO Robert Cavallucci said.
“Mitre is a well-known and highly respected brand within our game with established relationships with Football Australia and other Member Federations, including as the official match ball for the Australia Cup competition in recent years.
“Every affiliated club across the state will benefit from this new partnership which will deliver access to high-quality, FIFA accredited footballs that are suitable for clubs at every level of the game.
“We’re looking forward to establishing a strong partnership with Mitre and working closely with them to support the growth of football in Queensland over the next three years.”
Gerrard Woods from Mitre said the partnership would deliver benefits for clubs from community level to the NPL Queensland.
“Mitre is excited to partner with Football Queensland to provide clubs with access to a wide range of high-quality footballs, no matter what level of the game they participate in,” Woods said.
“We’re proud to increase our support of the beautiful game in Australia by partnering with Football Queensland, and we look forward to working with them to support the continued growth of the game across the state.”
